The Ship Design services covered by ROMV & Associates are a complete process methodology to fulfill owner´s requeriments in all design stages, conceptual, preliminary, detailed, product engineering oriented and trials agenda. The first stage just to make deep knowledge about the right product required by the owners evaluating missions inside design spaces, cost & effectiveness estimation through sinthesis models with initial target performance, and improved results compared with others products. The second stage covers the whole information to be submitted for aprovals and building permissions by the current authority. The detailed design stage covers the whole package for cost estimating and production control activities. Finally, the product engineering information and trial agenda covers the construction itself and the validating of the project regarding the performace & cost.
All the stages are continuosly linked to fulfill the following technical specifications:
000 General Guidance & Administration
This section outlines general requirements for ship system performance and includes related general requirements for planning, development, design, construction and documentation associated with acquisition and maintenance
100 Hull & Superstructure
This section sets forth the general requirements for the design and construction of the cutter's structure, including the hull and all structural components. The requirements that are particular to each structural component are provided in
200 Propulsion Plant
This section addresses general requirements for the propulsion plant including propulsion units, propulsion auxiliaries, associated equipment, control systems, piping systems, and electrical systems that are required to drive the propellers.
300 Electric Plant
This section addresses general requirements for the electric plant including power generation, distribution and consuming equipment such as lighting, power, interior communication, weapons, control, electric propulsion, and degaussing installations, the details of which are covered in sections of the specification.
400 Command & Navigation
This section addresses general requirements for the navigation equipment and its requirements.
500 Auxiliary Systems
This section addresses general requirements for the auxiliary system aboard including ballast, firefighting, fresh & hot water, fuel lines, pumps, etc and degaussing installations, the details of which are covered in sections of the specification.
600 Outfit & Furnishing
This section addresses general requirements for the accomodations as an integrated system including deck arrangement, materials & furnishing, etc and degaussing installations, the details of which are covered in sections of the specification.
800 Integration & Engineering
This section of the work breakdown structure is provided primarily for cost estimating and progress reporting. However these sections also provide an outline for developing contract requirements for engineering, analyses, drawings, and reports that may be required.
900 Ship Assembly & Supporting Services
This section is provided primarily for contractual and production support services as insurance, trials, delivery, test & inspection, weighing & recordering, launching, dry docking and so on that may be required regarding the ship assemblies.
